What other states license plates do you see in your city the most?

I was looking at the thread about the states you would like to move to and I seen that Washington and Oregon had alot of votes, with so many people wanting to live there It makes me wonder why I see so many Oregon and Washington plates around Albuquerque.

I'd say they are just as common as Texas plates are here.A couple years ago I would see alot of California plates around but not as many now for some reason.

In Jersey City there are nearly as many NY tags as Jersey tags. PA and CT are in high numbers too.

Also, lots of NC/VA/FL tags. Lots of insurance fraud going on.

In Seattle, the vast majority are California, Oregon, and British Columbia (Canada). Arizona, Texas, Michigan, Montana, Idaho are also fairly common. I have seen plates from a lot of different states, but because we are kind of tucked away in the NW corner, you don't see tons from the east coast or south. Though for some reason I tend to see quite a few Florida manatee plates.

In Little Rock: Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Alabama.

Anywhere you have a military base, you're going to see Florida tags. A lot of military folks set up their permanent residence in Florida (sometimes Texas) so they don't have to pay state income taxes no matter where they're based.

There's nearly as many NY and NJ license plates roaming the streets of Metro ScranBarre as there are PA ones! I feel honored to know that I'm single-handedly luring these suckers....errr...."prospective new families" here!

other states plates are VERY common in Boston.
Usually: New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Vermont, Pennsylvania, Quebec, and Maryland.
I think you actually see more from Jersey than say Maine so it has as much to do with states populations as geographic proximity.

Here in southwest CT we see a ton of NY, NJ, PA and MA plates. I've recently noticed a lot from CA as well.

Mostly WI plates here in the Twin Cities. Lots of IL & ND too, just passing thru on I-94. Third most common, SD & IA.
