East of the Rockies it's gonna be humid as eff when it's warm. West of the Rockies it doesn't rain much when it's warm. So you gotta compromise somewhere. Southern Oregon might be worth a shout i.e. places like Ashland. Not as rainy as Seattle, not as dry as SoCal. What rain you get you get mostly in winter, so the warm months aren't humid.
Hello all, so climate is very important to me regarding an upcoming move I plan on making, and after hours of relentless research, I've come to a roadblock. I'm looking for a city that doesnt get too humid, yet recieves a solid amount of rainfall every year(think 30 inches or so) 1 that is also sunny around and upwards of 65% of the year, and stays within the 40-90 degree Fahrenheit throughout the year. Essentially a sunnier version of seattle, or a wetter version of San Diego. I haven't found any climate like this(aside from maybe Hawaii, which I can't relocate to) but if anyone knows of a place that fits the bill or is remotely close to it, thatd be wonderful and id appreciate it greatly. Does my idea of perfect weather exist? Thank you.
Is 40 degrees for a high or for a low? Asheville NC almost fits your criteria, 60% sunshine, 45in rain, winter highs 47-51, but lows do get into the mid-20s. Otherwise, it gets solid rain and sunshine, and the elevation moderates the humidity.
Thanks for the incredibly in depth response, Texas is definitely a place I had been eyeing. Stayed in Austin before and really enjoyed the climate, aside from the ridiculous summer heat. I see Fredericksburg is about, on average, 3 degrees cooler so I might look into that. Thank you!
Many places in Texas are humid-hot in the summer. The closer you get to the Gulf of Mexico the more humid it gets. Austin is already quite humid, Brownsville is like Florida. It's dry in the Panhandle, but it also doesn't rain much there.
The issue is that rain is water...humidity is the presence of water vapor in the air. You don't get the former without the latter.

Hawaii definitely would fit this description. It still has enough rain and humidity to keep its place green and full of palm trees without getting too humid, too hot, or too cold. Hawaii weather is a "paradise climate" to most people who value having perfect weather with perfect greenery. That is very hard to find in the mainland USA and "palm trees + greenery + low humidity" is hard to find in the US. There are some places in coastal California (probably SF area) that look ridiculously greener than the rest of the state. Any green area of California that receives enough rain to keep it green is probably good for the OP. But remember, you won't have the greenery + palm trees combination like Hawaii.
