For sure Houston. I never realized in general how conservative Texas is until 2016. Yikes.

Demographically I wouldn't say Texas is conservative at all, but they have done a good job to hold onto power as long as they can, but it can only last so long.

Things are changing though, thanks to all the northern transplants and immigrants from Mexico/Central America.

It should be more of a purple state in the not-so-distant future.

Number 2 on the list, I'd say Philadelphia would be next most conservative after Houston. Really, if Houston wasn't on this list at all it would be a very good question, and very close anyway you slice it.

True, but you also have to remember a lot of northerners moving to Texas lean conservative anyway...they are fleeing the liberal states up north for a reason. Also, Hispanics in Texas tend to be more conservative than the average US Hispanic.
