Yes, that's the one. The Mid-South Fair had been in Memphis since 1859 but in 2008 it moved just across the state line to Southaven, Mississippi.

Cool concept for discussion. I think anymore Wheeling, WV has its jobs in Ohio.
I would guess not except for the retail in St. Clairsville, OH. Washington, PA is too far. There days I reckon those willing and able to do hard work are taking advantage of the gas boom going on right now. Pipelines and drilling are everywhere. It seems like every other vehicle on WV-2 is some type of work truck (for gas).

I based my guess on how most folks I've met in Wheeling tell me how just about everything is shutting down anymore.

A couple of my acquaintances from the area drive around half an hour for work. Which, sadly, isn't unheard of in any state these days.

That said, it was just a guess based on anecdotes. So I don't doubt you either.

LOL, you haven't landed at DIA and looked around have you? Everything east of Aurora, CO may as well be the high plains of KS. It's also a running joke to say the airport is out in Kansas because it's fairly distant from the city.

Omaha's airport is in Nebraska, but due to a flood changing the course of the Missouri River, you have to go into Iowa to get there.
