Parts of Arizona and New Mexico might work.You would have more severe winters in New Mex. than Arizona desert though.

Tri-Cities, WA. Low humidity, modified desert climate, little rain and snow. Reasonable housing prices. Within 3 hours of Seattle and Portland.

Allergies are worst in the central valley, where the air sits and there can be a lot of agricultural air pollution. You'd be better off at the coast or in the mountains.

The coast can also have problems with molds, though, so it depends. Farther north - more mold because of the weather, farther south is dryer so less mold issues.

You can probably find the allergy info online for different areas.
