Is there any website that states what region of the US the domestic transplants of a city/county/metro area hail from? (2015)

Say I want to find what fraction of domestic transplants in Gwinnett County, GA hail from the Northeast and would like to compare it to Mecklenburg County, NC....is there a website that would have this info?


I've checked the American Community Survey's factfinder tool and wasn't able to find this information.

Funny, I thought it explains why states like Michigan have more of a feel of community and togetherness than states full of transplants who're all strangers to each others.

They also lived in rural Missouri and now the Pacific Northwest and still find Michigan, at least the Detroit area, to be the least welcoming and hospitable. Being Chinese, they almost decided against moving to Michigan in the late 80s due to the Vincent Chan fiasco being a recent memory there and those initially low expectations were later proven to not at all be off base.

Southern Missouri was a lot outwardly friendlier though people tended to keep it to themselves if they didn't like you or something.

The PNW (their current location) isn't as friendly (the Seattle freeze is no joke) but the people there didn't really make you feel like you're unwelcome. I guess it helps that over half of the people in Oregon and Washington are born out of state.
