Below is my vision of where I want to live... Where in the US is most similar to it? You can tell me the metro area, or all of the way down to street intersection that fits best. Thanks.

-Upscale/Safe/Polished/Artificial in feel like Bellevue, Scottsdale, Irvine
-Mountainous Aesthetics reminiscent of Mission Viejo or Western Austin
-A youthful urban vibe like Seattle or Denver
-Major city resources (high level health care, well known corporate headquarters, and selective well known universities) within a 30 minute drive
-WINTERS THAT HAVE ZERO SNOW/ICE, but rain and cold is fine
-Zero preference for political tendencies of the areas, or area's stance on taxation
-A place where that is great for someone who is 20 years old, 50 years old, or 80 years old

OK, so, money is no object? Not an issue?

I would rather live in the best fitting place and live modestly, or whatever it takes to make it work

Some of the places on your list sound like, well, they fit your criteria already.

My thoughts exactly. How about Irvine? (or Aliso Viejo?)

You're pretty much describing south OC.

Orange County, CA, San Diego, CA (La Jolla).

Florida completely ruled out (zero mountains).

If you could deal with a bit of winter weather, (couple mos a year) Asheville, NC, Charlotte, NC, or Franklin, TN areas are worth a good look.

Any other strong fits if we remove the mountain necessity?
