I've heard it pronounced all kinds of ways since I have lived all over the country but I say it 'GEHR-RAJ'. I'm originally from Upstate NY.

It was 'guh-RAHJ' when I lived in the South and 'GRAJ' in parts of the Midwest.

My mom always said it with a hard 'z' at the end like gar-ahdz. No idea where that came from.

I think most Americans say "guh-RAHDJ" or something pretty similar to that. The first time I ever heard a Brit say "GAIR-idge" it cracked me up.
