It can be a small city or big city. It must be a place where people live, work, go to school, and go through the motions. Not just a place to sit on the beach.

How warm?

I think around Wilmington, NC would be good for this.

Very rare snow dustings at most... almost always above freezing, and rare to see a daytime high below 50

This is SUCH a broad post idk where to even start. I mean, all of the Gulf Coast, all of Florida, coastal GA, coastal SC, Hawaii, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Tucson, El Paso. There are so many places it depends on your budget, where you're willing to live, what type of amenities, what type of work, what type of people, etc.

Well, the criteria was nicest, not cheapest or otherwise. Hawaii certainly seems like a strong alternative.

My 2 personal favorites that fit closet to this criteria are the Tampa/St. Petersburg area and Charleston, SC. They're beautiful, have a lot to do, incredible beaches, and pretty affordable for coastal areas. I love them.
