I got Louisiana and this is where I"m originally from and where I live now. I do believe in friendliness and Southern hospitality but also in being honest. I believe in speaking my mind but doing so in a classy manner.

YOU GOT:
Florida
You are not someone who goes out of their way to be rude, but you put absolutely no stock in whatever rules some snobby person might say count as being polite. You're someone who lives by the Golden Rule of treating others well until they give you a reason not to. That can make you seem erratic, but it's just the way people roll in Florida.

And guess where I'm from?
How'd they know that???
That's pretty freaky!

Do they even have profiles for all 50 states?

So far, the tests have supplied them for NY, LA, ID, and FL.

C’mon, CDers! Take the test and report your results!

Not long ago, someone posted a What’s Your Real Age kind of test. The only ages that kept coming up were 10, 22, 38, and one or two in the 50-80 yr age range.

I also drew Idaho.

Not too suprised, as I'm a lifelong libertarian conservative with a farming background, and while I've never lived in Idaho, I felt most at home outside my native Pennsylvania when I spent a year in Nebraska, which is not that far removed from Idaho in terms of culture.

Interestingly, my one sibling, a brother two years my junior, relocated to Idaho in order to establish a retirement career (veterinarian turned USDA inspector). In conversation, he's made note of the influx of disenchanted California emigres', and the strong Mormon influence (the state is second only to Utah in the percentage of Latter Day Saints within its population).

I live in Boise, ID and got New York. (thank god it wasn't Colorado)

An interesting note is the photo of that river canyon at the link is the Bruneau River Canyon near Boise.

It isn't just Californians, Idaho and specifically Boise is attracting a lot of people from all along the west coast; Seattle, Portland, etc.

There can be a strong Mormon influence in certain circles, but the LDS/Mormons only account for around 20% of the total population and many LDS I know aren't practicing the religion lol and don't go to church. (Utah is over 60%)

It's probably geared to giving you one or two states per region. Notice how Louisiana keeps popping up for a traditionally southern state?

Considering I'm a lifelong Northeasterner and come from a New York family, I'm not at all surprised I got New York.
