RI has a sizeable Liberian population. Most live in the adjoining cities of Providence and Pawtucket and fled their homeland in the last 30 years to escape its civil wars.

I believe most Black immigrants in DC city limits live Around Howard, U Street/Shaw, and NW/NE DC near the Montgomery/PG county line. but the vast majority of immigrants in the DC area live in the suburbs.
