Thanks! I'll consider that. Not Virgina because it's too close to home. I've actually been there a few times. Good advice!
It'll be really hard to decide. I definitely want no income tax. But I also really want my own space. I'm pretty introverted. I'm thinking Nevada may be a better choice even though I'll need a car. How is public transportation in Seattle's surrounding areas though? How reliable is the rail? Is it still developing?
Thanks! I will look into the midwest. I've also considered Chicago as well despite it's high crime rate. Nyc's is supposedly high too but I've never felt unsafe. I'm also looking for a strong arts community. Forgot to mention that.
I think NYC, CT, California, and Mass pay LPNs the highest. Heard pay elsewhere is around $15-$20 an hour.
One reason we are on delay moving out of CT. Wife's student loan debt is high.
With Virginia heard certain hospital's if an LPN then become an RN may give you a pay bump. If you can work in a hospital network as an LPN where the hospital is connected to a nursing school another bonus.
I suggest Richmond or Virginia Beach.
