Baltimore being engulfed by DC isn't a concern, as we have our own distinct culture that is pretty well known.
Nothing to brag about considering none of it is brag worthy, just stating the obvious. It's nice that you care so much about DC though considering noone has mentioned BMore but you seem keen on chiming in on DC

That line is older than DC, and when DC was founded, it was founded Below that line. DC is geographically the 2nd most northern city in the SOUTH after the southern city of Baltimore.

Theres no "confused shrug" emoticon available. He loves DC it seems. Perhaps he was a former resident?

DC can't brag about anything right now... Just sayin'.
Which is ironic because that was the same reason that DC has been doing all of that bragging to begin with.

In Indiana generally Madison to Seymour to Tell City has more of a Kentucky / Mid South feel. Accents definitely change north of Seymour or west of Corydon. In Kentucky the only mostly non Southern areas would be the northeast suburbs of Louisville into Oldham County and the three counties across from Cincinnati.

I don't dislike DC at all, but it's south of Baltimore which makes it a southern city.
