It has snowed a total of 3 times so far this winter. All of it in the past 9 days. By the end of today we'll likely have close to 2ft of snow. And the high for Wednesday is -12, windchill -40 to -50. Buckle up, Milwaukee!

We'll have both in north Iowa this week.

It depends on how deep the freeze. I'd rather have -10 and not deal with removing snow, but at the temps we're going to see (-30+), I'd rather push a foot of snow in 15-20 degrees.

Come on up. I shoveled enough to get out of the driveway this morning but there will be more this afternoon. It's in the 20's today.

I love snow, so I say snowy. If I'm going to be that cold, I might as well get some pretty snow for the trouble. But that's just me, lol.

Given the choice, I’d rather have snow.
But a blue bird frigid day after a big snow dump is pretty great. ⛷⛸🛷

You're offering a false choice--here in Buffalo, we've had -30 windchill AND ~18 inches of snow with blizzard-like conditions over the past two days. Why settle for one when you can have both?

I wish we'd get a snowstorm in Rhode Island. We've only had an inch this entire season.

Here's an exercise in futility for you: I had my 5-year-old car battery replaced on Tuesday, knowing that the forecast for Wednesday-Thursday was blizzard-like. Drove the car home from the shop Tuesday; everything was fine. Tuesday night, I attempted to start it to go to the store, and...nothing. No sound at all when I turned the key in the ignition; not even the clicking sound I recall from when my starter was perpetually an issue. So...thinking I'd be stranded for multiple days, I was pretty angry. Early next day, however, had AAA tow the car back to the shop, had some wiring issue rectified (I wish I knew more about cars than I do), and...was able to evacuate my area to nearby Niagara Falls (an area that tends to get a bit less snow than Buffalo due to local geography) just before I truly would've been stranded at home for multiple days. So...success, I guess. Although I can't help but laugh at the thought that I would've been better off with the old battery as opposed to preemptively changing it....
