Q3 2018 GDP data was released last month by bea.gov, and here is the 12-month state gdp for that time period.
Lots to glean here are as far as growth.

It is interesting to see where GDP rankings are not aligned with population rankings. Massachusetts' GDP is over 7% higher than Michigan's, despite Michigan having 10 million residents and Massachusetts a little under 7 million. Likewise Florida has a GDP a little over 60% of New York's, even though in the last few years Florida has surpassed New York in population. No real surprises in the data, but on the positive side every state has seen their GDP increase.
(I think the headers on the second table are reversed - Q3/2018 should be first and Q1/2017 second).

Florida joined the trillion dollar economy club. If Illinois continues to have that growth in its economy, I can see that state joining the club sometime in the next decade.
