OK Ok...I know most people checked out this thread so that they could talk up their own cities...but instead I'd like to know what are the top 5 cities you've never been to but want to visit...

My list goes...

1. Portland, OR
2. Portland, ME
3. Kansas City
4. Boise, ID
5. Iowa City, IA

(With the exception of Kansas, I haven't been to any of these states, and I'd like to make it to all 50 states someday! Plus, all these cities seem pretty cool.)

Oh, and...if I could name a 6th city I would say Omaha (have never been to Nebraska either)

The only city I've really ever visited that I've considered "Must See Cit-Y" is Prague, in the Czech Republic. Never found any other place.

Along with naming these cities, it would be great if people could say why they chose what they did. A "must see city" is a pretty strong recommendation. Why did you choose the ones you did?

Tokyo
Athens
Santiago
Tel-Aviv
Sydney

Nothing against the US at all, but been to all the lower 48 states, and every city with a metro over 1 million except Atlanta, Cincy and Louisville.

If you don't take another vacation in your lifetime, make time and money to visit Prague (particularly if you like beer and architecture). You'll have memories that will last a lifetime. The most beautiful city hands down I've ever been to.
