From San Diego:

Albuquerque

770 miles, 12 hours

But I have a good friend who just moved back there from here and will likely finally visit it soon.

After that it’s gonna be Houston 1500 miles, 21 hours

I’ve pretty well visited all “major” cities within that arc otherwise up to Canada.

Never been to Virginia Beach which is 204 miles or 3hrs 15mins from Raleigh. I've made a few plans here and there to go there for a weekend or a concert, but they didn't pan out for one reason or another. I'll make it up there at some point.

Never been to St Augustine even though it's like 45 minutes from me (in Jacksonville, FL).

New London, Connecticut. This is one of terminal city of CTrail Shore Line East, one of three Connecticut commuter rail lines . It is also well known for tourism on its Thames River Park. Its nearby town Mystic is famous, probably the top 1 tourist attraction in CT.

Pretty close from New Haven county, but never had chance to visit. Will visit at some point in summer.

In New England, I think Bridgeport is the only city over 100,000 where I’ve driven through it dozens of times but never stopped.

I am aware on population wise, Bridgeport is claimed to be No 1 in CT. But it is a city that does not have much incentive for me to visit. In stead, I picked New London instead.

I visited many major New England cities, Boston, Worcester, Springfield, Providence, New Haven, Hartford, Stamford.

Another one may be Portland, Maine, but it is not so close, pretty long drive from south.

Sure but it’s the 2nd largest city in the Dakotas and the biggest city between MSP and probably Boise.

Well, I've never been to Cleveland, either.
