lol, there are still a few sane ones left, so maybe she's one of them looking to escape the insanity.

There are lots of places that fit the bill in the Midwest OP, but it's a bit longer than a 6 hour drive to Vegas from here.

There are some nice horse communities in the Chicago burbs, but I think it may be too cold here for your liking. The Northern suburbs of Indy are worth a look. Lexington Kentucky is another one, beautiful horse country. Maybe the burbs of Nashville too.

What about the Louisville area? It's a great mid-sized city known for its equestrian culture along with several other amenities (i.e. culinary) and nice areas outside the city proper.

6 hours to Vegas is anywhere in the continental US if you fly and flights tend to be cheap.

You can live in Williamson County south of Nashville in semi-rural and still have your Ferrari and Lamborghini dealers 10 minutes away.

What are you talking about? Coastal California has one the best summer climates in the world, highs vary from the 60s-80s and is usually comfortable. You apparently live inland so say that, instead of incorrectly generalizing the entire state

I am a dog and horse trainer, so I need to be in a strong horse community. I can maybe live somewhere with a little bit of snow, but not a ton. Looking for semi-rural and a LOT less traffic than L.A. Preferably within 6 hour drive time to Vegas to visit family. Also, somewhere where there痴 a strong sense of community and people are really friendly and outgoing. I know I知 asking for a lot here. Any ideas? TIA
When has it been 110 degrees in La Habra?

You've been saying you hate CA for 4 years now and you haven't moved yet? Can't be that bad.

If I were you I would look at any city Allegiant flies to from Vegas instead of worrying about driving time. They fly to a lot of great smaller cities all over the country from there so you should have a lot of options.

Lol you want to be rid of 100 degree heat, but still live within 6 hrs of vegas? Enjoy living on top of a mountain. I recommend sun screen and lots of it
