I heard plenty of NY in your words, though you definitely have a mix.

The way NYers say dog, coffee, awful, water, makes it a dead giveway. Then there was the tourist who asked me upon hearing a raven croak said, “Isn’t that a crow cause it went Caw Caw?” — with cause, and caw caw all sounding straight out of NYC. Never mind that the croak sounded nothing like a crow’s caw; it was an all-black bird and many people confuse the two species.

I know some native NYers whose parents are also native NYers and they don't have any trace of a NY accent. It is mind-boggling, lol.

Mine is in the middle. I'm not full-on NYer … I pronounce R's rather than ending things with an 'Uh' sounds (dollar vs dolla) but I say "wawter" "cawfee" "dawg" all of that lol

Same. But honestly, the idea that a New York accent is non-rhotic like a Brit's is kinda silly. Even the older uneducated guys I work with don't go as far as to say "watuh", they still pronounce the R to some extent.

Yep. It was an exact match for me, too.

I don't speak Ebonics and I try not to sound Southern. My fiance is as redneck as they come, he's got a thick drawl lol.

I got Greensboro, NC - Chattanooga, TN - Columbus, GA. Darkest red was for the Deep South. Surprisingly, I have red stretching into northeast PA and orange into Maine. I have orange well into NY/VT/NH/ME, but northern OH is blue. That surprised me.

I used to work for a Boston-based employer and picked up some of the words. I may reference something with a northern term, but the few ones I answered that way aren't things that would come up in day to day conversation.
