1. New Mexico- Yes, I know the the job market sucks and its a poor state. BUT, its for me has the most uplifting scenery I have ever seen in my life. I am a big fan of wide open spaces as far as the eye can see and nothing comes close to that as NM.
2. California- I love San Diego, because its next to Tijuana which I love to death as a place for sin.
Giggle.....I didn't realize Atlanta was a state. And apparently because a state before Puerto Rico.
California gets my vote - since I'm dreaming and pretending that everything about it is ideal and perfect. In reality, I would never live there because it's so far to the Left on a lot of things and way too expensive.

Hope not to offend, but it's interesting how people can see things differently. I've traveled around New Mexico a bit and to me it's scenery is depressing. Lots of houses with mostly dirt yards and just generally dusty everywhere. I guess that I'm not much into desert scenery, but even for that Utah, Arizona, and Nevada are much more attractive imo. As far as wide open spaces, I prefer the other side of the country. Montana is big sky country and incredibly scenic.
