LOL There ain't a dang thing wrong with that sweetie!
Wellllll, hells bells hon...it is ALMOST embarassing to say I got a 100% because it DOES make it sound like I was cheatin! LOL
In passing though...I thought the question of what does one call that little bug that rolls up in a ball? When I was growing up in Texas, we always called them "doodle bugs". Roly poly would have been my second answer...
Also, the term for a sandwich with all that good stuff on it. We always called them 'po'boys"....but yeah, today, in just about every part of the country, they are probably known as "subs".
Finally...just to ask around...anybody remember calling a "Laundrymat" a "Washateria"? Or was that just an old Texas thing...?" (actually, phonetically, it came out as "Warsh-uh-TEEREEUH" LOL
On the first test I got 53%. On the advanced test, I got 58%. Some of these questions I do not say at all but had to put something. But i think it's mostly correct IMO for me.
*grinning a bit* Other than me, MissyMom, Ace and Spade (hey, that combination WASNT originally intended, but since it DID, by pure happenstance, come out that way?...I take credit for the pun! LOL)?
To the point though, sounds (pun intended again!) like the rest of y'all are a bunch of yankees! (j/k)
ooops! In my own rush to pat myself on the back for clever wording, I made a BIG mistake. There IS no "Ace" here. I had in mind "A-Team" and stupidly got the moniker wrong! Sorry, A-Team! You are one of the Dixie boys and girls! LOL
I kept getting "Spoken throughout the U.S." and other generic neutral answers, with a couple of exceptions (mostly implying Great Lakes or Western). It calculated me as "definitely a Yankee". I'm from Nebraska so it seems appropriate.
