Is there anywhere left in the US that has a tropical climate (yes I dont mind humidity one bit), relatively low crime(violent), is somewhat affordable & has a little charm to it? Hopefully it would be a welcoming type of place for childless married couple in their early 30's.

Other than those factors I am not very picky.

Anyone know of a place that fits that description anymore?

The only places in the U.S. that literally have a tropical climate are southern Florida and Hawaii
