I'm a warm climate girl. As another poster said I'd not move there while my kids are still growing up. They already know the second they are out of the house mom and dad are going to be living 1/2 the time somewhere else (We have about 10 more years). The top 3 choices are:

1. Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Very Americanized but not too much. Slow pace of life, great for my allergies, easy to fly to and from to our hometown.

2. Costa Rica. Stable government. Beautiful location with two coasts. Easy to fly to and from.

3. Belize. I'd almost prefer one of the islands off the mainland of Belize. Warm climate, tropical setting, slow pace of life and plenty to do. Easy to fly to and from as well.

All 3 of these we can fly nonstop from our home to them in 2 1/2 - 4 hours. That makes a HUGE difference for me.

For me it would have to be Ireland because there is where my husband's family is. Just to pick, Australia for its beauty and New Zealand for the same.

1. France - I love learning French, its culture and Paris
2. Canada - similar to the U.S. in some way
3. Sweden - I already lived there for 16 years

Switzerland, Ireland, UK

If I had my old job back I could probably transfer to Leuven, BE, Maidenhead, UK or Stuttgart, DE eventually or even Shenzhen, China.

They also have offices in San Jose and Chicago so currently seeing what is up ...
