Oh no you didn't, girlfriend! In the interest of saving bandwith space though I won't torture you all with hundreds of more pictures of gawdy Victorians from the Electric City.

Scranton is one of the ugliest cities I have ever seen. If it weren't for the pretty mountains around the city, I would have gone blind looking at the decay.

Scottsdale is completely ugly. It is as if someone though putting a crappy city in the middle of the desert was a good idea!

I'm going to have to agree with most of what you said.

..and there are no zoning laws in Houston which contributes to its ugliness.

Well, you've asked for it:

"Ugly" Scranton, PA:

Our Depressing Downtown

The Nefarious Green Ridge Historic District

Hell on "The Hill"

Cry Me a "West Side" Story

Steve Carrell Works Here. Oh The Horror!

The more people diss Scranton, the harder I'm going to dish it back!

What? You want me to drive around parts of Scottsdale near Phoenix and/or central Scottsdale (read: old, tiny, ugly, undesireable homes) and generalize the whole city based on that? Thats what youre doing with Scranton. There are parts of Scranton that are absolutely gorgeous, same goes for Scottsdale.
