Hi everyone!

I'm just curious. My Dh and I laid out our wish list today of our perfect area. ( I know nowhere is actually perfect) And here's what we need:

Smaller town or atleast low crime
green or working on getting there
street fairs, outside activities
alternative / holistic healthcare providers
food coops/ recycling programs
atleast a community college within 45 minutes or so
all four seasons, the more snow the better
and a decent economy, construction work going on

Is this possible?

Thanks!

Traverse City, (northern) Michigan. It has everything you are looking for. Except maybe the construction jobs prospects.

How is the economy in Traverse City, even if there are no construction jobs? Are there other types of types?

Aside from the construction jobs it sounds like either Burlington or Brattleboro in Vermont. Vermont's and New Hampshire's economies are stronger than most in the country right now.
