7. Houston
8. Chicago
9. Kansas City

Of course Scranton didn't make the cut because I tried to only use relatively large cities.

This is a very good list with a few places one wouldn't expect. Since the topic doesn't apparently name anything terribly specific, it looks like anything goes. So that's a fine choice of cities. And, for a change, one that doesn't include New York City. But this is a refreshing change with Providence and Lexington making that list. You can easily make a top ten list and there are so many deserving cities that get left off.

Orlando should be on most people's lists. The climate is very good year-round, and they've got a pretty good job market. And tourism is red hot!

It also has many undesirable qualities, such as a lack of culture, lack of public transportation, a very cookie-cutter character, etc. Great weather can only take you so far.

What do you mean for a change? It is a FACT that NYC is one of the top cities in America. Anyone who says otherwise is delusional.
