Cool, 500th post
I guess I wouldn't mind seeing North Omaha and seeing the skyline, but other then that I don't think Omaha would really be a city I'd really want to visit that much.I've actually driven through Omaha before though, and it does seem like a nice city.I think its got a very impressive skyline for a city with a small metro population.

There are only two major American cities that I haven't visited and want to...
San Antonio - I want to stroll the River Walk.
Minneapolis - I want to see where Mary Richards and Rhoda Morgenstern lived.

You are always welcome in Texas. And you will love Austin. Great food and spectacular scenery. Come on down -- I'm saving a place for you!

Thanks for the warm welcome in advance! I've heard mixed reviews of Texas, especially Austin, but most of the negative reviews were from other Texans whom I guessing were jealous of Austin because it is getting more hype than their own cities. I'd just like to see if Austin is truly as "hip" as we hear it is here in the Northeast. I have family in Shreveport, LA, so a day-trip from there into Texas as an aside is a real possibility in a few years if I go to visit! I'll buy you a nice cool drink!

I've actually wanted to see that too but not for the same reason. I've seen pictures and the Oregon coast looks really neat

I guess I'd like to add the whole Pacific Northwest coast including far northern California.

I've done projects in a lot of major cities. 8 weeks + and some up to 11 months. But I've lived in:
Dallas
Austin
Portland
San Diego
LA
San Francisco
Tampa
Norfolk
Denver
Seattle
Pensacola
Charleston
Hawaii (The Big Island)

I'm an old country boy and live in a town of 15,000 and sometimes I think it's too big. But I would like to visit:

Chicago
New York (Have flown in and drove through but didn't stop. Time schedule)
Nashville
Las Vega
Anchorage

I've been through all of those, but didn't stop or take in any sights that I couldn't see from the airport or the highway.
