I voted Minnesota, because its very well educated state (Minneapolis the smartest city in the US), the nature of Minnesota is beautiful and I love winter so Minnesota was my choice definitely.

Washington is the only state I can think of that has a rain forest (the largest temperate rain forest in the world), desert landscape, mountain ranges, and an ocean coast line, all while being 1/3 the size of mega states like California and Texas. That doesn't necessarily make it the best state, but it does have interesting topography!

yes, they do. That's a huge misconception, that all of Hawaii is lush rain forests and beaches.
