Teutonia Avenue (pronounced Tie TONE e uh)
Burleigh St. (pronounced BUR lye)
Kinnikinnik Avenue (prounced like it's spelled, but locals call it KK)

St. Paul:

Cretin Ave. (pronounced just like the word, but actually named after the archdiocese's firsh archbishop, a French-Canadian)

Minneapolis:

Wayzata Blvd. (pronounced Wy ZETTA)

I spotted one in Dallas: Lakawana Street. It's in West Dallas.

Must have been named by someone in Lackawana Co, PA. Apparently they changed the spelling a bit.

In a small town in Massachusetts, there was a Free Street. Not so funny, eh? Well, the next street over was "South" Free Street. Again, not so funny. Not until you saw the actual signs...

Well, I thought it was cute. Sadly, the last time I was in Massachusetts, I noticed they'd enlarged the So Free sign so it could actually say South Free. Not so funny, but probably better for directions .
