LA is obviously going to come in first here because of Hollywood. But when you say "influence" people think kids and immaturities while New York provides an economic and political influence, which is more important.

My vote goes to NYC. This country's well-being comes before movies.

I was biased and plus I didn't want to feed into the humongus egos of people for NYC and LA. To be honest, people outside of NYC and LA really could give a damn about them; Here in Texas, if we want to go to NYC, we got to Houston or Dallas.

It was a toss of the coin between "other" and "other nation." "Other Nation" because virtually every major oil producer (face it America is enslaved by oil), and China (as a major consumer of oil and producer of manufactured goods), has far more influence over the U.S. and rest of the world than any of the cities listed. With "other" I referred to the agricultural areas of the country. No food=no people. Far more important than anything any of the listed cities produce these days.
