Reno is a great place, easy 1 hour drive to South Lake Tahoe, beautiful mountains, of course Reno is commonly ignored because of Las Vegas, and its close proximaty to Sacramento, San Fran, it is though getting a NBA D League team and an Triple A baseball team so maybe that will help promote it more!!!
Two cities in my area that I would say are very overlooked are Santa Ana and Anaheim, CA which are both the largest cities in my county (Orange). Santa Ana has 340,000 people and Anaheim has 334,000 people and both are the center of the 5th most populous county in the USA with almost 3 million people. Yet due to the continuous flow of these cities into Los Angeles, they are often ignored and not well known. Los Angeles is like the giant tree casting a shadow over Anaheim and Santa Ana. I'm curious if people from outside California have heard of Anaheim and Santa Ana because in my experience they usually haven't been, so have you heard of these two cities?
Of course! Who doesn't know Disneyland is in Anaheim? They both seem like giant suburbs - I personally would never call them cities, despite their population.
We already have a thread going where people can compliment the frequently-bashed cities. So I though I'd start another one where people can say nice things about frequently-ignored cities that tend to be overlooked all-together.

That's not what it said. It said "Suburban area in Canada some of the most beautful in World" meaning Buffalo's suburban areas in Canada are some of the most beautiful.
Little Rock, AR - so ignored it doesn't even get mentioned on a most ignored city thread.
