My point was I don't think it is so different in any other country. The way immigrants are treated in France and Germany is not stellar.

The "Americans-losing-jobs-to-immigrants" argument is legit in some cases.

Immigrant labor is cheaper. Companies looking to save money will get rid of American workers and higher immigrants because they know they can get away with paying immigrants lower salaries.
