There is alot of choices as far as moving goes, but i just can not seem to pick one a place or even a state! please help me, following is the criteria that has to 100% be met if i can even consider the state much less a town in that state.
1. has to be within 700 miles of Northeast Ga and Northwest west virginia as thats where our families are.
2. has to be a state that allows carrying a concealed weapon.
3. lower crime dont want murders every day maybe 1 or 2 a year at worst
4. allows homeschooling without much interference.
5. can find a place to rent for under 600$ a month.
6. is in a mountainous,country,rural setting yet close enough to a town with enough things to do within at least 50 miles of a larger town.
7. is pet friendly
8. is in the south or midwest no northern states please. nothing above west virginia and nothing past the mississippi.
9. no tourist towns! i live in one now and hate it, they make the prices go up and i can not afford the prices here or any other tourist town.
10. will be looking for a 2 or 3 bedroom for rent be it trailer,apt or home for under 600$ a month.
so i am willing willing to hear about towns and states i should look at please help me before i go crazy.

how about tennessee? rural, mountains, close to georgia and west virginia. you could check about anywhere in that state, i wouldnt go to memphis though if your worried about crime. id check out some towns near nashville like murfreesboro, clarksville, gallitin, or find a place to rent in nashville. that would be a great place, but if you want more rural, than just go to one of those smaller towns down the road. and that location has great transportation to georgia and west virginia.
