you are so right, it does look like a vibrator,from all the pics I have seen of the spire, I think it just looks out of place, maybe in Vegas it would fit in a little better, but it is cool just not for Chicago.

the spire is better but soft people will choose freedom tower.

You got that right. It would only work in Vegas if it was shaped like the Eiffel Tower, draped in tacky neon, and have some amusement park ride on it. Oh, add some stupid fountains in front of it, call it something cheesy and the braindead masses will gravitate to it, dragging their knuckles, all the while proclaiming "Vegas is hot, baby".

does anybody think that the chicago spire will be full (occupants) before the freddom tower is full after they are both done

Isnt the Freedom Tower a commercial unit? The Spire is residential only, so I doubt it will be filled as fast, especially considering how expensive it is. Studios start at 750K and penthouses at 40 million.
