If you can handle hot, humid summers, Houston wins hands down. Houston is the 2nd most internationally diverse city in the nation (after NYC), has unbelievable arts & culture, fantastic restaurants, beautiful parks and lush green spaces, and tons of things to do. I would suggest living inside the Loop, as otherwise, traffic can get really rough. Winters in Houston are very nice and mild.

Time Magazine listed Sacramento as the most diverse and intergrated city in the country. In terms of nightlife, I'll pick Houston. The weather in Sacramento is fantastic except for the summer months when it can get hot. Houston has those thunderstorms in the summer. Sac is all sun. People complain that it gets REALLY hot. Yes it does but its not like its everyday. In the months of June, July and August the temperature will be over 100 about 15-25 times. Its no big deal. Better than the monsoon moisture and humidity of Texas. By 7 or 8pm, the temps in Sac will cool to around 75-80 degrees. Perfect for hanging out and doing activities.

I'm a big fan of Rancho Cucamonga. My uncle used to live there, and I think overall it's one of the best places to live in California.

Rancho Cucamonga puts you in a pretty prime location for trips to San Diego, Los Angeles or course, Las Vegas, Orange county and easy access to ski resorts. Not too bad I would say. If you have any interest in wine, Temecula(south of Rancho, about one hour)has approximately twenty-five vineyards and some you can stay overnight.

I'm guessing they were thinking of Rancho Cordova...

weed is not even close to "legal" in AZ. they have some tough laws against it, no medical program in state. CA is much more relaxed & practically legal. plenty of dispensaries throughout the major cities with excellent cannabis
