Excuse me, but how is California similar to Florida at all? They are both in the US. They both are populous. Anything else?

Sure, both states get tourists. The weather is not really similar. Not one bit. Florida is hotter, rainier, less sunny, and experiences more storms. The beaches look VERY different, though you're correct that both states have them.

Good pick up on the Disneyland/disneyworld similarity.

Florida is too flat.

Florida always copycatted Ca with Disney, Sea World, Universal, then they do it better, that's always been my complaint, being from the west coast
Although I have to say I prefer ca to fl.

my opinion....cali blows away florida in culture, ecology, vibe

but miami is a better city any any CA city...yeah i said it. its got an east coast vibe. more caribbean - sitting on a beach with gold chain & crystal. its just my style baby....the reggae all stars are all about FL.

of course im drinkin a lot of the cheaper version of crystal right about now
