Overall I think you're quite good. Some of my comments in bold.

New Orleans-best food and drink in the country (best in some specific cuisines but not in general)
Memphis-Best Blues (probably)
Charlotte-Best BBQ (maybe)
Miami-Best looking bodies (probably)
Houston- The most diverse city in the south with the best skyline (probably, also a lot cooler and more unique than most people give credit)
Dallas-JR is Back (I don't get it? But I'd give it as having the snobbiest vibe of all mentioned)
San Antonio-The next great city in America (How so? I don't know about that, but it's a nice place)
Baton Rouge-an up & coming city (being in LA is holding it back and that won't change much anytime soon)
Austin-The most health conscious and overrated city (don't know about the first, but definitely the second - overrated and not as unique and cool as people make it out to be)
Nashville=Best country music (yep)
Jackson-Best Catfish (have no idea)
Birmingham-best soul food and most underrated city (maybe, I don't know)
Mobile-Fun people (yes, and nice water recreation)
Augusta-best golfers (yes)
Savannah- Most romantic (maybe, but it has some competition with New Orleans and San Antonio)
Shreveport-lose all your money there at the casinos (blah)

Yes, i just bought a home the same size as the house I had in the South for the same price. It's a great time to be a buyer.

Boy, I guess it is all relative. Atlanta never seems particularly hilly to me.

For the ill-informed...there is more than one kind of N.C. barbecue. Lexington-style is very different from what you so eloquently described.

I can't believe that a bunch of Texans ranked Texas barbecue #1! Amazing!

Memphis barbeque is tops. I like NC bbq, but if I had to have only one kind for the rest of my life, I'd instantly choose Memphis.

Surely you are not being facetious here, are you Deacon?

But seriously, there are several different BBQ styles within the state, but I guess if there is a single thing that generally marks it as "Texas" it would be beef (as opposed to pork in most parts of the Southeast). I hope it doesn't cost me my native Texas credentials, but I personally prefer pork!
