I am in MA so the same markets do not apply. I do not shop WholeFoods..way too expensive.

In MA I used to shop Roche Bros./Sudbury Farms but my grocery bill for the same things I have always bought has increased through them by $60.00 every time I go shopping.

I also used Hannaford Foods until their computer system was hacked into and someone got hold of my bank numbers and used them. Hannafords didn't even respond........They don't get a second chance.

I buy all my meat at Costco because it is good quality and I get my money's worth.

I now shop for other groceries at Shaw's Supermarket. I have noticed the difference in my wallet.

Mostly Vons (Safeway) for convenience. Also Henry's (specialty/organic type store) since they have a better selection of some things.

Whole Foods. Best place in Omaha since Wild Oats closed.

The 'big two' in Atlanta are Kroger and Publix (out of FL)...together, they have over 90% of the metro area market (although I'm sure that WalMart and Target are changing that). Whole Foods is here, Fresh Market, Ingles (in the outlying suburbs), and I notice that Aldi is opening here now, too.
I use Kroger for quick runs, but DeKalb Farmers' Market is down the road from me and it is fabulous!!
