United States should have Metric system included as these posters in the whole country, as we already have Kilometers included in our speed limits on cars + metrics on packages in our food stores. Americans should respect people from other countries that they know the metric!

Ah phooy. Leave the signs the way they are. Not like other countries have MPH or the distance in Miles as well as metric when we go on vacation. Want to vacation in a different country, learn the basics of the Country you are going to, that goes both ways; if we go someplace else or if they come here.

what is the deal with you, man?? Why do you start these threads?? I mean they are interesting, but they get irritating after a while...

well anyways, I like the idea, but only for places close to the Canadian or Mexican border.......I mean you can't put signs like that in Kansas or Nebraska.

I have a better idea. Remove ALL the signs showing the artificially low speed limits.

Remove them all and starve the cops.

Arrow We use metric system and love it!

i think the entire US being on the metric system is a great idea. the town i live in (in Indiana) gives temperature reading in degrees celsuis. the schools make the students use the metric system. and on the town greenways signs are shown in meters and Kph. and the local hospitals are on the metric system.
