Different parts of the U.S. are distinctive based on accents, food, foliage, even types of houses. However, I've heard some people from the Midwest say their town in reminds them of New England. Someone on a thread here said they know of a town that reminds them of Bedford Falls, the town in the movie It's A Wonderful Life. I spoke to someone living in Blowing Rock N.C. and she said at Christmas she's reminded of a Currier and Ives print. So I'm wondering () if anyones' town reminds them of an English Cotswolds village.

I don't think anything over here is that old.

But for similar areas I bet there are locales in Oregon, Northern California, Colorado, Texas, Tennessee and Kentucky - at least - that bear enough similarities to make them interesting, even if they're not as historic as the Cotswolds.

Only thing is, to see the same number of sheep over here that you have there you would need to hang around Los Banos, CA, and you don't want to know what that means in Spanish. ,
