In what states is fairworks NOT illegal? (That means where you could buy fireworks at stores or somewhere else without a problem, age limit does not matter)

They are legal for purchase in Indiana if you are over the age of 18.

They sell only certain kinds in the stores here in Minnesota. You get caught you suffer the consequences.

Many towns have ordinances against them, but fireworks are very easy to come by in Missouri.

Wisconsin and Michigan allow fireworks.

Missiissippi allows fireworks to be sold but many towns have their own ordinances against using them. I remember as a teenager leaving Penna. for a family car trip through the upper South to Oklahoma and the envy I felt when I saw all the fancy fireworks stands. We could only have caps and sparklers in Pa.
