Burglary by far. EVERYONE is at risk for a burglar. While child molesters are morally disgusting and lower property values, so do all of these other criminals, except I have no kids, so as far as I'm concerned, it would effect me less than having a burglar or a drug dealer next door.

Would you feel less different if you had a pedophile next door, and he raped your little sister or little brother???????????????
I voted for rape, because it seems those people have the least self-control aside from the child molesters, perhaps. I'm by no means an expert, so I can't speak to recidivism. Now, I have children, but if I know a child molester is next door, well, then I'd be moving. And, in the interim, my children would never ever be outside without my supervision.
Rape. You can recover easily from Burgulary and drugs, but rape is something that lives with you forever and drives people to be emotionally scarred for life. Also rapist usually have conditions where they can't even control their actions.
Are you going to let your children out to play unsupervised? I dont have kids so maybe thats why. How is the molester going to get into contact with your kid? But if I have kids I dont care if the whole block is full of child molesters, they're not touching my kid.
