What are the names and population figures of the largest cities or metropolitan regions (ranging from largest to smallest) in the state you currently live in?
*Columbia and Cookeville are the only cities among Tennessee's 25 largest cities that don't belong to a MSA, although Columbia is included in Nashville's CSA.

3. Springfield: pop. 151,580 MSA: 368,374
4. Independence: pop. 113,228. It is the largest suburb of Kansas City on the Missouri side.
5. Columbia. pop. 84,531
6. St. Joseph. pop. 73,990 Also part of the KC area. Generally not considered a suburb, though.
7. Lee's Summit. pop. 70,700 Another KC suburb.
KC has fewer, but larger suburbs than St. Louis, which has a whole bunch of small suburbs.
