Houston immediately came to mind even before I saw the poll options. Omaha has been a strong contender as of late.

I voted LA but I would go with SF even more upon thinking about it more. I mean come on, how great can the city be when 90% of it smells like urine

No thank you I already have a vacuum cleaner. May I interest you in some spray-on-hair though?

The question for this thread is which city is too overhyped on this forum, not in general. I haven't seen LA or SF overhyped anywhere near as much as Omaha on this forum.

On this board it is certainly Omaha and Houston, no doubt.

Without question, New York City. Way overhyped. Too rude, too dirty, too cold, too rotten, too graffiti-ridden.
And how, pray tell, is Oil City, PA, on this list??? I thought we were discussing cities. What the heck is an Oil City?

You just can't really hate anything about San Diego. If they've got the best year-round weather in America, that's all you need. If anything, they deserve more hype.

Its strange. This site seems to me like NYC is strangely under represented. Not many people here over-hype it at all. I think it's just you're negative view of it that's speaking, not the fact that it is over-hyped (which i don't feel it is at all)
