Currently, I'm am attending college at Princeton University and I am currently taking classes to become a Surgeon. Which cities in the US are the best for medicine?

Louisville KY is where the first hand transplant was done and the cervical cancer vaccine was created.

Look at the Texas Medical Center. It is growing in leaps and bounds right now. Its already the largest Medical center in the world.

Another city that is flying a bit under the radar right now, but expanding at a furious rate is Grand Rapids, MI. There has been new research facilities and hospital expansions going on at a staggering rate for the size city it is.

Nashville is a good choice.

Not only does Nashville have two medical schools including one of the country's most prestigious (Vanderbilt) it's also the headquarters of the world's largest hospital chain with very large, very impressive flagship hospitals.

Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and Louisville have 3 university hospitals whose accomplishments reads like a 'who's who' list.

Pitt - first & largest children's hosp in world, developed penicilian, performs over half of US organ transplants

Cincinnati - first emergency room & ambulance

Louisville - first hand transplant, wireless artificial heart transplant, developed first cervical cancer vaccine
