In Colorado Springs, CO, our taxes on a $312k house were $1,100

In Round Rock, TX, our taxes on a $240k house were $6,000

Yup, everything is bigger in Texas. That's why I'm checking out this posting as a means to find a location with lower property taxes to move. I don't want to go back to Colorado Springs.

Wow, all your property taxes are cheap. I don't know if i responded to this thread, but without the Star exemption we pay like 8300 for our house that's assessed around 300,000. Our property is 60x100.
