I'm going to have to go with Alabama. I think a Wyoming winter would be too much for me!

I would choose Alabama, but Wyoming is a pretty state and deserves some credit.

Wyoming. The winters aren't *that* bad, in fact Cheyenne's isn't much worse than Denver's. Both have a lot of up and down temps, all winter long. Casper is nice, too.

Ahhhh, Windy ol Wyoming, there may be nice scenery there but I would go with Alabama. Most people don't realize this but part of the Appalachians reach into the far North East corner of AL. Plus Alabama is growing quite well. There is nice scenery in both states.

Don't get me wrong about Wyoming, I've seen so many pictures in my favorite magazine of Wyoming. It sure does look pretty out there.

Alabama is a cesspool.

Wyoming is, ....Wyoming (nothing)... but I could see why one would vacation in Wyoming.

Is this poll for which state would you never ever ever ever want to live or travel to?

I would have to agree with both of these quotes, except for the part about Wyoming because I've never been there. I know about alabama from personal experience though. I never thought I'd find myself agreeing with a liberal .

Wyoming: the Equality State. First state to give women the right to vote (probably b/c there are so few people there).

I would go with Wyoming because I'm a dedicated Westerner (despite being born in Atlanta) although parts of Alabama would be OK with me - some excellent fishing and hunting there. But the dry and cooler climate of Wy would do it for me. Whoever said it's essentially Colorado minus Denver has it about right. Damn if I know where you can find a job in Wyoming, except as, I guess, a cowboy though...
