CT pizza models NY's lol. Or at least tries to. You don't ever hear of anyone liking "CT pizza" I never heard of such a thing.

Rachel, check out the list of places I've eaten pizza. There is a difference - trust me. Get out of the city, head to New Haven, check out Pepe's, Sally's, Modern, Amato's - you'll thank me.

You've been to Pepe's, Modern, Sally's and still don't notice the difference?

Pizza isn't good at all in New England. Anyway, it isn't too appealing if it doesn't even have an italian name...lol

I have tried italian in St.Louis and it was nothing special. I have been all around this country, traveling for college hockey and just traveling for pleasure. I think the second best italian food that i've tried in the country (next to NY's) would be Las Vegas.

New Haven-style is far closer to Neopolitan-style than NY-style. New Haven-style and NY-style aren't even close. New Haven-style doesn't even use mozzarella cheese, and the "original" New-Haven style doesn't use tomato sauce, so really, how close to NY-style can it be?

As for nobody liking "CT pizza," strangely enough one of the most renowned pizza joints in Chicago of all places serves -- guess what -- New Haven-style pizza.
