you get used to it. i don't really notice the humidity much. hot is hot to me. but i love that it never really gets very cold here and when it does it's for like a day or two and then it's back to more tolerable temps. as for the heat. it stays around upper 80s to mid 90s. it's tolerable. i just don't like the afternoon storms that pop up almost everyday. they only last like 10 minutes but they are a huge annoyance when they bring the freeways to a standstill.

The school there is in North/northeast houston. Where are some good areas to live and how far away from UTI if you know where this are they?

the heights is a great area just north of houston. you go any further north you end up in a bit of a undesirable area.

They are actually similar in that they are both very diverse racially and ethnically, and they are both very flat(which is odd in CA).

Some people say there's nothing to do in Sacramento but I moved there for 3 years from The Bay Area and just fell in love with the place.

You're comparing the nation's 4th largest city, international, huge industry, medical, NASA.... to a smaller city with a lot less influence. Go off that.

I'd bet Houston's economy and housing market is miles above Sacramento's right now though.
