I want you to base your vote on a few factors:
A) Entertainment.
B) Large Cities (Amenities and Nightlife)
C) Landscape (Urban, Rural, and Geographical

This thread was made with inspiration from "The Most Boring State" thread.
I am not going to list every state. I am going to pick the 25 states which I think are the most exciting.
If your state is not on the list, simply vote, other.
In my opinion, California, by far, is the most exciting state.
California is the home of the movie industry.
San Francisco.
Malibu.
Yosemite.
And the mighty Pacific Ocean.
It houses a number of different landscapes.
And a number of large cities with great amenities and night life.
Soon to follow after California I would vote:
2. Florida
3. Texas
4. New York
5. Illinois, Georgia, North Carolina, or Virginia
Vermont for nightlife?
Wyoming for nightlife.
Vermont and Wyoming for superior scenery.
But, Vermont and Wyoming in my book aren't all that eventful.
Sure, they are beautiful.
But they're large cities are just not.

I went with California and New York due to the vast variety of landscapes and world class cities they offer (well, I would say only NYC qualifies for the latter but it's kind of the mother of all cosmopolitan cities, so they don't really need another)...mountains, forests, oceans, playgrounds for the rich, rural idylls, hippie/gay/artist havens, desert (ok, that one's just in Cali)...
California was a VERY easy choice but after that it gets a bit tougher to decide.

Haha, I tried to pick more populous states with some attractions.
NJ has Atlantic City.
NJ has the Statue of Liberty.
NJ has.... hahah.
